Compare a tee you like with the exact garment chart, using the measurement method shown. Consider your preferred fit. Cuts can differ, so a usual size label alone is not enough.
Measure a shirt whose fit you like
Lay a familiar tee flat without stretching it. Follow the measurement method shown on the new product’s chart, comparing the same points for width and length. If the chart measures the garment, do not substitute a body measurement or treat a flat width as a full circumference.
For example, the Literally EveryOne chart checked for this guide lists the medium garment width as 50.80 cm and length as 73.66 cm. These are product-chart measurements, not a universal recommendation for a particular body size. Check the current chart and its method before choosing.
Decide how you want the new tee to fit
Compare the measured tee with your preferred amount of room and coverage. Look at sleeves, shoulders and overall length too. Moving up a size can lengthen the shirt and sleeves rather than simply add room around the torso.
Use the specific model’s chart each time. The store carries different garment blanks and weights, so a familiar size letter is not enough evidence of the same fit. Confirm the selected colour, composition and returns information before ordering. Your dance role does not determine the size or cut that feels right to you.
