The RoleRotation Academy is an online school dedicated to role-free social dancing. Whether you want to learn to lead, follow, or both – you’ll find your place here.
What Is the RoleRotation Academy?
The Academy was created by Felipe y Tiago to give every dancer access to quality social dance education – without the gender binary. Classes cover Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk, and other social dances, all taught with the principle that anyone can dance any role.
What You Can Learn
- Social dance technique for leaders and followers
- How to switch roles mid-dance
- Connection and communication with your partner
- Musicality and interpretation
- The RoleRotation philosophy and community values
Online and Accessible
The Academy is fully online, which means you can learn from anywhere in the world, at your own pace. Whether you’re in Lisbon, Berlin, London Tokyo, or Buenos Aires – the Academy is open for you.
Who Is It For?
The Academy is for all levels – beginners who are just starting, intermediate dancers who want to explore the other role, and advanced dancers who want to deepen their understanding of connection and musicality. It’s also a welcoming space for queer dancers, non-binary dancers, and everyone who’s been told they “belong” in one role only.
